CBD is legal, non-intoxicating and it will indirectly affect your body’s cannabinoid receptors.

What is the difference between all the UK CBD oils on the market?
Whole-Plant (Crude) CBD Oil
Low Quality: Effective: IllegalCBD Crude is an unrefined extract and is considered low quality, it contains all parts of the plant including waste material like waxes, lipids and chlorophyll. The more waste material present; the lower the quality which is a result of a poor extraction method. It will contain THC and potentially other controlled cannabinoids like CBN or THCV. Consumers can fail a controlled drugs test.
Full-Spectrum CBD Oil
A refined plant extract that is considered high quality (no waste material). It contains as many valuable compounds from the plant as possible. It will contain THC along with multiple cannabinoids and all additional plant compound groups such as terpenoids and flavonoids. Sadly, even though Full-Spectrum is the most effective type of oil, it is illegal in the UK due to containing controlled substances such as THC, CBN and THCV. Consumers can fail a controlled drugs test.
Broad-Spectrum CBD Oil
A refined extract that is considered high quality (no waste material). It will contain many valuable compounds found in the plant. It is essentially the same as Full-Spectrum however it has been refined further to remove THC, CBN and THCV (controlled drugs). Consumers will pass a controlled drug test.
Narrow-Spectrum CBD Oil
An overly refined extract, it usually contains just one or possibly two cannabinoids. It will contain some of the other beneficial compounds from the plant, however a lot of the additional beneficial compounds have been lost through over refinement; reducing effectiveness. Consumers will pass a controlled drug test.
No-Spectrum CBD Oil
Isolates are a purified 99% form of isolated cannabinoids; they are one dimensional and would be considered not to have a spectrum within the plant extract classification. They are a single molecule and do not benefit from the entourage effect. They do still work in the body however effectiveness is biphasic; once hitting optimal dosage, effects begin to reverse or diminish even when dosages are increased. Consumers will pass a controlled drug test.
Which spectrum is Bud & Tender CBD Oil?
Why is whole plant (crude) considered low quality?
For example, this process also holds true in hash making. When making hash, it is only the trichomes that the hash maker is looking to extract and as such, ‘high-grade’ hash contains no excess plant material; it should be made purely from the trichomes (there are even different grades of trichome). Very low-grade hash will contain a lot of excess waste plant material.
Waste material such as lipids, waxes and chlorophyll are considered bad in extracts and CBD oils. However, they are deemed as good when it comes to hemp seed oil for eating…so be careful not to confuse the two.

Which cannabinoids are illegal in the UK?

What is the endocannabinoid system?

What is the 'entourage effect'?
How much Bud & Tender CBD Oil should I take and when?
You should only supplement when you feel that your endocannabinoid system needs topping up, this is something you will learn to feel. If you wake up and feel great, don’t supplement, save it for when you need it.
The Food Standards Agency in the UK recommends not to consume more than seventy milligrams of cannabidiol per day and that it should only be used by persons over the age of eighteen.
Everyone’s endocannabinoid system is different; some people require a large serving once per day, others find that smaller servings three time per day (morning, day and night) works better for them. Some people even have a chronically deficient endocannabinoid system and they don’t start to feel the benefits until after two weeks of continuous use. We will say it’s better to start with a small serving and work your way up from there until your find the sweet spot for your body to achieve biological homeostasis (you feeling great again).

Are there any potential side effects from taking CBD?
The World Health Organization states that “CBD is generally well tolerated with a good safety profile”.
However in rare cases some people may experience side effects such as diarrhea or fatigue.
CBD can interact with several medications and this is especially important if you take other supplements or medications that come with a “grapefruit warning.” CBD and grapefruit both interfere with your livers cytochrome P450 enzymes, which play an important role in drug metabolism. If you are unsure, you should always speak with your doctor first before combining CBD and your medication.
