    1. What is the difference between hemp and cannabis?

    Hemp and cannabis are terms often used interchangeably. The true botanical name for hemp is Cannabis Sativa L.

    2. What’s the difference between hemp and marijuana?

    • Marijuana: This variety is THC-dominant with low CBD levels. It's commonly used as a drug.
    • Hemp: This variety is CBD-dominant with low THC levels often used for CBD oil production. 

    3. What is CBD?

    Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-intoxicating phytocannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. It impacts your body's cannabinoid receptors indirectly, supporting overall wellness without producing a high.

    4. What is THC?

    Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is a intoxicating phytocannabinoid. Unlike CBD, THC directly affects the body's cannabinoid receptors and is illegal without a medical prescription in the UK. 

    5. Are there other phytocannabinoids?

    • CBD oil: Extracted from the flowers of the cannabis plant, rich in cannabinoids.
    • Hemp seed oil: Extracted from hemp seeds, used primarily as an edible oil. 

    10. Which cannabinoids are illegal in the UK?

    Cannabinoids such as THC, CBN & THCV are illegal unless prescribed medically.

    11. Are your products legal in the UK?

    Yes, all Bud & Tender products are compliant with UK law and are free from THC, CBN, and THCV. They can be classed as a THC-free CBD oil.

    Cannabinol (CBN) is a byproduct of THC degradation. Unlike THC, CBN produces a mild psychoactive effect and is still classified as an intoxicant.

    13. What is THCV?

    THCV is a variant of THC with different effects but is still classified as a controlled drug in the UK.

    14. Do our bodies produce their own cannabinoids?

    Yes, our bodies produce human cannabinoids known as endocannabinoids.

    15. What is the endocannabinoid system?

    The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is responsible for regulating biological functions like pleasure, pain, sleep, appetite, mood, and more using human cannabinoids.

    16. Will CBD help with my medical conditions?

    21. How long does it take for delivery?

    Due to high demand, delivery may take up to a day to process your order. We aim to deliver within 2-3 working days. 

    22. Can I get high from your products?

    I’m afraid not (sorry). Our products are THC, CBN, and THCV free, ensuring no psychoactive effects.

    23. Are there any potential side effects from taking CBD?

    The World Health Organization states that “CBD is generally well tolerated with a good safety profile”, but in rare cases, may cause side effects like diarrhea or fatigue. CBD can interact with some medications, so consult your doctor if you're on medication.

    24. Can I travel with your products?
